On January 31st, MI2 and the Kentucky Chamber Foundation partnered to initiate the launch of a Talent Pipeline Management (TPM®️) Metals Manufacturing Collaborative. This collaboration aims to bring together leaders and partners, fostering a concerted effort to bolster the metals talent pipeline in Kentucky.

As MI2 and the Kentucky Chamber Foundation dive deeper into Cohort 1 of the TPM®️ Metals Manufacturing Collaborative, we are delighted to have a strong set of committed partners in Cohort 1 who are set to embark on this journey. The Kentucky Chamber and MI2 are grateful for our participating partners: Kobe Aluminum Automotive Products, Novelis, Logan Aluminum, Jabil, and Ball Corporation.

Our demand survey, a cornerstone in our endeavor, is nearing completion. Scheduled for distribution next week, this survey represents a crucial step in understanding industry needs and shaping our strategies accordingly.

And, finally, to streamline our efforts, the survey has been simplified, with partners tasked to rank 20 key positions. This prioritization will enable us to target critical roles effectively, laying the groundwork for robust talent pipelines.

The door to Cohort 1 remains open, and we extend an invitation to potential partners to join us in this initiative. Talent Pipeline Management (TPM®️) offers an employer-led, demand-driven approach, ensuring alignment between talent needs and workforce development systems. By participating in Cohort 1, organizations will shape Kentucky’s talent landscape and explore impactful strategies.

Thank you for your continued support and dedication to advancing Kentucky's metals industry. We can’t wait to share more updates with you.
