MI2 CEO Mike Buckentin Appointed to Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis Louisville Branch Board

Our CEO, Mike Buckentin, has been appointed to the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis Louisville Branch Board of Directors, a three-year term beginning in January 2026.

In this three-year term, Mike will join a distinguished group of regional business and community leaders who provide key insight into the economic conditions affecting our region. The Louisville Branch Board plays a vital role in advising the Federal Reserve’s leadership on local economic trends and business conditions, ensuring that voices from industry, commerce, and services are heard in national monetary and economic policy conversations.

Mike’s appointment underscores the critical role that manufacturing and the metals industry play in the health of both regional and national economies. As CEO of MI2 in Bowling Green, Ky., he brings deep sector expertise and a long track record of industry leadership to the Board.
