MI2 Welcomes Laura Haury as Sustainability Project Coordinator

MI2 welcomes Laura Haury as our new Sustainability Project Coordinator.

Laura brings more than 18 years of environmental leadership from Logan Aluminum, where she most recently served as Senior Environmental Engineer. Throughout her career, she led environmental compliance efforts supporting manufacturing operations through three major facility expansions, with a deep focus on water quality, waste management, and recycling and sustainability initiatives.

In her new role with MI2, Laura will concentrate on aluminum recycling efforts, environmental education, and community outreach, helping to raise awareness about the importance of aluminum recycling and developing programs that move the dial on increasing recycling rates across Kentucky and beyond.

Laura’s experience, technical expertise, and passion for sustainability will play a key role in advancing MI2’s mission to strengthen the metals industry while supporting responsible growth and environmental stewardship.
