Marcel Christians, President, Wieland Recycling North America
Marcel Christians is the President of Wieland Recycling North America. With extensive leadership experience in strategic development, innovation, and sustainability, Marcel oversees recycling and refining operations across the United States and Mexico. He previously served as Wieland’s VP for RD&I and Sustainability, where he led global teams in advancing decarbonization and technology deployment. His career spans roles as COO/CTO at Ice Energy, scaling operations and driving product innovation, and senior engineering roles at United Technologies. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne in Switzerland.

Steve Clarke, President & CEO, Logan Aluminum
Steve is an accomplished leader in manufacturing and is the current President of Logan Aluminum, the largest single can sheet facility in North America. With over 30 years of global experience with Novelis, he has held multiple leadership roles including VP Operations for Europe and VP of Value Stream GM for Specialties Europe. In his most recent role as Vice President of Operations Excellence, Steve was instrumental in driving the implementation of world-class operational systems and defining a robust digital strategy for manufacturing. He has led 11 manufacturing sites across diverse geographies, focusing on safety, sustainability, and optimizing manufacturing networks for growth.
Steve’s broad expertise encompasses supply chain management, quality assurance, capital expenditure project management, and health and safety compliance, making him a pivotal figure in advancing operational excellence and fostering a culture of innovation within the industry. Steve holds a bachelor’s degree with honors in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Wolverhampton (UK) and a post graduate diploma in Engineering Business Management from University of Warwick (UK).
