Laura Hagan

Laura Hagan is an attorney practicing with the firm of Kerrick Bachert, PSC, with offices in Bowling Green and Elizabethtown. She was born and raised in New Haven, Kentucky, and attended the University of Kentucky, receiving a Bachelor of Health Science in 1987 and a Juris Doctor in 1993. She is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and her practice consists of assisting companies and individuals with their intellectual property needs, such as patents, trademarks, trade secrets, and copyrights, and drafting contracts for the transfer and commercialization of various forms of intellectual property.

Laura currently serves as the Chair of the Western Kentucky University Research Foundation, and she is a member of the Governance Committee for Board of Directors for Feeding America Kentucky Heartland. In the past, she has served in leadership positions for various boards for non-profits organizations, including Community Foundation of South Central Kentucky, the Bowling Green St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store, and the local chapter of the American Red Cross.
