The Metals Innovation Search finals set for Tuesday, September 5th

The submission period has now concluded, and we're excited to announce that we have narrowed the Innovation Search down to a set of finalists, in collaboration with our partners at Konexons. Those finalists are set to present their proposals to a panel during our annual conference, on the afternoon of Tuesday, September 5th.

If you're interested in witnessing this innovation showcase, we encourage you to join us next Tuesday. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of the event and learn more, not just about the winning innovation but also about the other finalists.

The Metals Innovation Search was a competition seeking groundbreaking solutions to drive sustainable advancements in the metals industry, both locally in Kentucky and on a global scale. The competition covered a range of focus areas, including environmental sustainability, end-of-life recycling, advanced manufacturing, workforce development, and other metal-related projects. Innovators from all corners of the nation participated, presenting a diverse array of innovations, from early-stage concepts to fully-fledged, revenue-generating enterprises. We were excited to hit our goal of receiving 50 innovative ideas for this search.
